Chapter 26 Oath in the Name of Horus

Chapter 26 Oath in the Name of Horus

Edgar shouted desperately, trying to drive away all the men and women around him so he could have a chance to explain to Isabella.

At that moment, a curly-haired woman suddenly stepped out from the crowd; it was Lily, whom he had hugged earlier.

She puffed out her chest, deliberately letting her bikini strap slip down to her elbows, and said defiantly, "Why should she leave? She's not as young as me, and she doesn't understand you as well as I, Lily!"

As she spoke, she deliberately swayed her body, making her pair of papayas sway like surging waves.

"What nonsense are you talking about!"

Edgar was so angry that his face turned red. He clung to the edge of the pool, wanting to climb out and slap her: He had lied to her, that he wasn't a gigolo, that he earned money through his talent. Did she really believe him?

He never expected that the woman he brought with him because she was easy to fool and get along with would push him into a fire pit the moment she opened her mouth.

Lin Ximeng reacted quickly, grabbing his wrist: "When did I say you could kick someone out?"

You wanted to hear more from the curly-haired, big-breasted girl, but you actually beat her up?

"Let go!"

Edgar tried to pull his hand back, but his arm wouldn't budge. The Asian man's dark-haired fingers were like iron clamps, making Edgar gasp.

"Looks like you've worked out before?" Lin Simon raised an eyebrow as he sized up Edgar.

The man still had some old muscle definition on his arms, indicating he used to train. Unfortunately, he was now quite swollen, clearly having neglected his training and had been worn down by alcohol and women.

"They're too lax," Lin Ximeng thought to himself, shaking his head. These gigolos on the West Coast have no sense of being kept women at all.

That's so unprofessional!

Does he really think he's an art enthusiast?

Lin Ximeng glanced sideways at Isabella's face—it was clearly worse.

Clutching the designer handbag in her hand was like choking Edgar.

He was clearly seething with anger, just short of exploding.

"For the remaining $500, we must kick Edgar when he's down and make it clear that he's a heartless man who cheated on his wife."

"Lily, right? Don't be afraid, I'm here. Just finish what you have to say," Lin Simon patted the arm of Lily, the curly-haired, big-breasted woman, and deliberately raised his voice to the crowd.

Lily, still angry about almost being slapped earlier, immediately spoke up upon hearing this: "He told me that an old woman is lusting after his looks and talent and keeps pestering him. He also said that the old woman has a temper as explosive as dynamite, and only someone as gentle as me can comfort him."

"You're talking nonsense!"

Edgar's face turned green. He tried to break free from Simon's grasp, but saw that the other man was still holding him with a grin, not moving an inch.

"Isabella, don't listen to her! I never said anything like that," he said, his voice almost splitting in his anxiety.

But Lin Ximeng saw that Isabella's face was clouded with worry.

Clearly, she didn't believe a word of Edgar's "nonsense."

Seeing Edgar struggling to get closer to Isabella, Simon Lin simply stretched out his leg to block him, his tone amused: "What's the rush? Shouldn't you introduce these people around you and their relationship to you before you get close? Speaking of which, didn't you rub someone's butt by the pool earlier?"

"Fxxk, you're talking nonsense. These women seduced me," Edgar said, his face turning a deep purplish-red as he struggled to break free.

But as soon as he said that, the girls by the pool erupted in a commotion, shouting all at once, "It was you who wouldn't let go of me!"

One of the girls, wearing a tight dress and sporting a curvy figure, stepped forward and pointed at Edgar's nose: "You're the one talking nonsense! Last week you told me that if I spent the night with you, you'd give me a new Chanel bag. Now you're trying to renege on your promise?"

As soon as the girl with the curvy butt finished speaking, the other girls immediately echoed her:

"Exactly! You still owe me money for YSL lipsticks!"

"Last week he said he'd take me to buy Hermès, but he tricked me into coming here to be a 'model'!"

Upon hearing this, Edgar's face turned pale, and his eyes filled with panic.

Instead, Lin Ximeng released Edgar's wrist, patted him on the shoulder with a kind expression, and said in a very low voice, but with a tone of "sincerity": "Don't worry, there is still hope."

Edgar grabbed his arm as if it were a lifeline: "W-what hope?"

"Mrs. Isabella still has feelings for you," Simon Lin said, suppressing a laugh but keeping a serious expression on his face.

"If you drive everyone away now and then admit your mistake, there's still a chance to make amends."

Edgar's eyes lit up: "Really?"

Lin Ximeng said earnestly, "Of course, I swear on the name of Horus."

Edgar's eyes lit up with hope again, and he waved to the girls around him, shouting, "Get out! Get away from me, don't get in my way!"

While shouting, he reached out and pushed her, all the greasy tenderness from their previous embrace in the pool was gone.

Simon Lin strolled over to Isabella, and as soon as he stopped, he was asked, "What did he say to you?"

"What else can I say?" he said casually, his hands behind his back. "I told you I was confused for a moment, and I'll definitely change in the future. Please give me another chance."

Isabella's face darkened. "Should I believe it?"

Lin Ximeng gestured with his chin towards the villa: "Believe it or not, take a look at those photos first."

Then, Simon Lin asked Isabella to lead him to the study on the second floor of the villa.

Upon entering the study, Lin Ximeng glanced around the room and then took down a landscape painting hanging on the wall.

Behind this landscape painting lies the place where, according to intelligence, Edgar stored photos of his infidelity.

After removing the painting, a recessed wooden cabinet was indeed revealed behind the frame. Lin Ximeng reached in and pulled out a leather photo album.

"Found it."

When Simon Lin saw the photo album hidden in the secret wooden cabinet, he knew that Edgar was doomed today.

The remaining $500 from this deal is also secured.

Isabella took the photo album, her hands trembling as she flipped through it.

The album was full of photos of Edgar with different women, some completely naked, others with props for various alphabet games. Each photo was ten times more exciting than the pool party scene from earlier.

Lin Ximeng glanced at the photos: they were all impressive, small in size, and very explicit.

Isabella clenched her fists, walked to the study window, and looked down at Edgar.

Edgar is currently by the pool, frantically trying to shoo people away.

"He wasn't like this when I first met him; he was a talented and ambitious photographer." Disappointment filled Isabella's eyes.

"Did my money ruin him?"

"He couldn't control himself, so whose fault is it?" Lin Ximeng shrugged.

"The advantage of having money is that you can keep trying, right? Anyway, the next one will be more obedient. The West Coast is free."

Isabella listened to Simon Lin's words and seemed to understand.

She turned and stared at him for two seconds, then suddenly laughed.

Isabella took five hundred-dollar bills out of her bag and handed them to Simon Lin: "Thank you, this is what I owe you and your neighbor."

Lin Ximeng took the money with a smile, saying, "It's my pleasure to serve you."

Just as he finished speaking, Lin Ximeng felt a pair of soft hands touching his trouser leg.

"This is?"

Lin Ximeng gasped; those hands were incredibly nimble.

Isabella leaned closer and lowered her voice: "I've decided to end this failed relationship, and I need your help one last time."

"Now?"

Lin Ximeng glanced out the window; Edgar was still shooing people away in the yard, glancing at the two of them from time to time.

Isabella smiled, her fingertips still brushing against Simon's waist: "Didn't you say we were on the free West Coast?"

As soon as she finished speaking, she suddenly bent her knees and knelt steadily on the carpet.

Lin Ximeng immediately felt the heat in his mouth.
