The carriage was about to reach home, but the atmosphere inside it was thick with the pressure of previous heated argument between Nula and Rani. Both of them were completely silent looking outside the window with gloomy expression. While both of them were unhappy with each other, Susan and Rasmi was having an idea brewing, after they made Rani understand her mistake. Typically it was Nula who said too many things to her while Susan and Rasmi remained silent trying to calm them down.
"Rasmi, don't you think we should go to meet our old friends..?" Susan suggested, Rasmi agreed with evil smile as she touched her lips with her fingers brushing it slightly while replying. "Why not, it's always fun to make others jealous of our success. And the fun only increase if it's someone who used to dispise me." Rasmi giggled.
"Aren't you a evil woman." Susan pointed as she herself was smiling knowingly at her comment, she can feel the envy filled eyes, words and smile of those who once used to ridicule them. Even if someone didn't have any enmity with them, they still feel aboundan amount of jealousy by seeing them this rich, and well position.
"I guess I can forgive Fuyu this time, not because I wanted to spend some time with him and he rejected but because what he gave me for a lifetime, even if he isn't with me right now. But this gift of his, this power, no his powers would always with me till I die. Oh, darling, I can't express my love." Susan's eyes soften upon thinking about him as she brought her palm near her chest feeling each heartbeat with warmth before this feeling soon get dissolved by the worldly affairs, but the love remained in the corner of her heart increasing with every heartbeat slow but prominent. Susan attention turned to Rasmi again as she put her thoughts away.
"No, don't take me as an evil woman, it's just pure fun to make them regret, to mock me in my desperate times. Haha, I love to see them smile infront of me and talk bad about me behind my back. But still unable to reach this height." Rasmi chuckled with Susan as they asked about this, meeting with old friends to Nula and Rani but both of them rejected.
"Offfuuu, nothing can be done then but it's been quite sometime since both of you met your friends no..?" Susan asked to Nula and Rani.
"No, I have no interest in meeting them and I am pregnant unable to travel that far." Rani said she needs to rest in home, while Nula replied. "I also don't want to meet anyone before having my baby. So you go.." Nula's reason to not go with them was because she knew she had scolded Rani quite much and need to again reestablish the relationship in good track that's why she would going to at home with her to have a talk and apologise for her rude behavior even though she knew Rani was pregnant.
"Since, both of you decided then there is no point to be stubborn with you guys. Alright we would let you guys off at home before heading to meet some of our friends." Rasmi said.
"Hmm..OK but be careful don't tease them so much that they attack you out of jealousy or anger." Rani said even though she wasn't happy, before getting off the carriage going inside without looking back.
"And don't forget this both of you, you only have more powers then others but one mistake can cost you life. So, stay careful, bye." Nula said before getting off the carriage.
"Yeah, yeah we would, bye." Both of watched them going inside before ordered to take them to the Ancient waterfall area, since it was day time most of the women would be there to take the water with them and a refreshing bath. It was perfect time to have interaction with others without need to travelling to their house one by one.
Meanwhile, inside the scheduled room made of stone walls and mud. Manu and Fuyu were sitting across each other, the room was bright with sunlight, birds chirping voice can be heard from the outside of the room, it was one of the scheduled placed made by the order of Manu. On the side of the table was an old man standing in complete silence and fearful expression like he had seen ghost.
"I can't believe, what Manu just told me..? It doesn't seems right from any angle. So, couldn't help but to came here to personally meet that strange old man he was talking about. This all might be one thing but why the fuck..? Vasana rejected to tell me anything except "You might be strong in this region kid, but the world is not only this four walls, real world is too large and you need to explore it own your own. I have given you enough knowledge to begin with." " Vasana's words were cold and cruel like, when he genuinely wanted her help she just leave him own his own was brutal, but Fuyu decided to uncovere this mystery by himself.

Cause someone who's entire hairs turned white should have their body lose like old fuck and ugly but this man wasn't.
"So you are saying, that you want us to grant you protection towards any kind of threat that might take your life. And in return you would give us a more superior technology that we are currently living in, this would help our Emerging Magical city to quickly achieve it's goal in near future. It will make our city, raise faster with new powers." Fuyu asked with his brows frowned, he was completely stunned knowing that someone like this old man exist in this world who knows more than he himself.
"Yes, Lord that's my proposal. I can give you, many valuable knowledge to you and your people helping them built an amazing city. But I demand protection in return."
"I don't understand, you say you are from more advance tribe who also knows about magic and other things. Then for someone like you what can we help with, mean what kind of protection and from whom..? Don't tell me you are prisoner of that highly advance tribe and by granting you shade in our city we are digging our own grave. I don't want to fibers that loss, we might grow slowly but this existential threat by letting you live here might be grave." Fuyu said, Shongi's lips curled into smile before he said.
"First of all it's civilization, I am from more advance civilization not tribe but nevermind." Shongi said with light chuckle making both Fuyu and Manu confused as they look at him, he continued. "Well, since we are talking about something very important, I won't be polite. So, this the truth, Lord don't have to worry about my civilization came here to attack your city to take vengeance for saving me, cause my entire civilization had been wiped out due to that curse, and I am the last one from which I have been running to save my life from. So, Lord can be rest assured about the safety of their city." Shongi said as Manu laughed saying.
"Haha, got brother we can be rest assured, nothing to worry about anymore. We can help him them." Manu said with excitement as he was eger to give the villagers new technology that they had never seen in their life and would appreciate, this would make there favorability increase towards him, not only that his pride, and reputation would increase to another level.
"Yeah, we can help him, Manu. After all, he has asked us for this but what's the hurry..? We still need to know " what is that threat we need to encounter..?" " Fuyu said as he looked at Shongi, Manu was bit confused as he was literally worrying that such a good harvest like Shongi might get away from there hand, because of Fuyu's investigation.

Because I still don't understand, and if we don't even understand the threat than how can we guarantee your safety..?" Fuyu asked as Manu was sitting with croucity upon thinking about this reason. "Yeah, I also wanted to know about this. Your tribe is ahead of us, even you know about magic before us. And even with such deep and profound knowledge and power your tribe still end up in grave. Then how can our humble soilders can protect you..?" Manu finally asked something sensible. Fuyu nodded to Manu's words but Shongi's eye twitched upon hearing his rude way of talking about his ancestors.
"Have some respect for my ancestors." Shongi screamed at Manu as Manu looked surprised before bursting into laughter.
"Hahaha, respect for whom. They died already, only ghosts will respect dead." Manu said as Shongi couldn't take this but Fuyu intervened asking for clarification.
"Yes, we would respect but clarify that question first." Fuyu added making Shongi to retreat in his mind, before he explained.
